Located in Victoria, BC, Hanna Kaye Verhagen is a professional art therapist registered with the Canadian Art Therapy Association. Hanna is passionate about bringing together art and psychology to help others grow personally and professionally.

Art Therapy Approach

Hanna takes a client-centered, mindfulness-based approach to her work with clients. She values the therapeutic qualities of art-making as well as its capacity to inspire dialogue, exploration and reflection. With the belief that everyone is the expert of their own life, Hanna’s collaborative, facilitator role helps guide clients to make their own self-discoveries.

Her art therapy services include individual and group art therapy sessions as well as workshops and creative facilitation for organizations. Hanna has years of experience working with a diverse range of clients as well as many years working in the sales/tech industry. She is dedicated to uniting creativity and psychology to help others in various settings.

Art Practice

Hanna takes a process-oriented approach to her art practice and uses the creative process for self-expression. She works with a range of materials on a regular basis, however, acrylic paint, watercolour, and ink are her primary focus.
